Media manager

Media managers are communication specialists who create and implement all targeted content for a variety of media platforms. They research, write, proofread, and edit all media content, implement and manage media campaigns, and deliver PR and communications plans. They often find employment in publishing houses, in the radio, television and film industries, with software providers, in the advertising industry and in PR agencies.

Social media manager

A company’s online presence is managed by a social media manager. They develop strategies, produce content, analyse usage data, facilitate customer service and manage projects and campaigns. Essentially, they are responsible for corporate communication across social networks. Because virtually every company today is active on social media, social media managers can find a job across various industries.

Digital marketing manager

Digital marketing managers are in charge of planning and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company’s brand and products and/or services. Some responsibilities include planning campaigns, analysing metrics, and identifying trends. Similar to social media managers, digital marketing managers can easily find a job in many different industries with the most notable one being digital marketing agencies.

Project manager

Project managers with a degree in media and communication management are in charge of overseeing the development of internal and external communication materials. They are often tasked with performing research and analysis to identify client and/or company needs, developing effective communication strategies, coordinating different teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of projects, setting communication objectives and goals, etc. Project managers can find a job in virtually every company.
