Prof. Dr. Frank Beine
Prof. Dr. Frank Beine was born in Hanover on 22 October, 1965. After obtaining his university entrance qualification in 1985, he completed training as a Bank Business Management Assistant in 1987. He then embarked upon studies in Business Administration at the Georg-August University, Göttingen, which he completed in 1991.
From 1991 to 1996, he was a research assistant at the University of Göttingen's Institute of Accounting and Auditing (headed by Prof. Dr. Lothar Schruff). In 1994, he gained his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) with a thesis on "equity-replacing shareholder contributions". He worked as a post-doctoral research associate (C1) at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing, Göttingen, from 1994 to 1996.
In 1996, he joined Deloitte & Touche, Hanover. He was appointed as a tax adviser in 1998 and as an auditor and partner in 2002. He became a managing partner in 2003. Since 2008, he has headed Audit-Related Advisory Services ("Advisory") nationally and Assurance (Audit & Advisory) in Deloitte's North/East region. He has held a teaching contract at the University of Hanover since 2003 and at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences since 2004. In January 2010, he was appointed as an honorary professor at the PFH.
